To stand up for what you believe in

Is no easy feat

Yet you were in the deep end

Causing discrimination’s defeat

I learned so much about comics

Fridging is horrible

Our mini debates when you had a speech

Taught me about the inevitable

I didn’t even realize it was a real thing

But you shined a light on it and now I’m in sync

Honestly Jessica, thank you for presenting about such hard topics. You really opened my eyes to these comics and authors. I think it is essential that people know about what really happens when writers throw away characters like that. I hope you become a comic book creator so I can only buy your comic books! Thank you for speaking on that and never backing down. You are an amazing human!
